PropTech Sensorberg digitizes several locations of the Coworking- and Event-Space provider betahaus in Berlin and Hamburg. The focus in all locations is put on digitally controlled building access, but also digitally operated lockers will be installed all over the place. In Berlin, Sensorberg has already installed the necessary hardware in the properties at both Rudi-Dutschke-Straße 23 (Kreuzberg) on almost 2,800 m² and at Harzer Straße 39 (Neukölln) on 3,000 m² and has also provided the software for its control. In Hamburg, where the founders of betahaus Hamburg run a new coworking space under the name finhaven at Versmannstrasse 4 in Hafencity together with representatives of the FinTech industry, implementation will take place in the first quarter.
In order to allow members of coworking spaces to access the buildings via smartphones, Sensorberg installs special contact and connection points, so-called access hubs, at the entrance building doors and at all doors inside the building. This enables members to access the buildings without keys or transponders via their mobile devices. Access control is implemented via an app developed by Sensorberg for betahaus. The app allows users to open and close not only doors but also lockers digitally. If required, additional features - such as heating and air regulation - can be integrated at any time. The usage data is collected in the background on an intelligent platform, which the operator can use to control capacity utilisation and use more effectively, for example, service providers such as cleaning companies.

The betahaus spaces in Rudi-Dutschke-Straße in Kreuzberg are located in the former editorial offices of the daily newspaper "taz" and are in the immediate vicinity of the historic border crossing at Checkpoint Charlie. The property on Harzer Strasse in Neukölln is located west of the Spree between Kiehlufer and Görlitzer Bahn Weg. Both locations are very well connected to public transport. The property in Hamburg is located directly next to HafenCity University is also easily accessible by public transport via bus and subway stations.
