Berlin, 25. June 2020 – PropTech Sensorberg, which specializes in the digitization of coworking spaces, commercial and residential real estate, and self-storage, was awarded the contract to equip the new CoWorking Center in the Alte Kleiderkasse in Hamburg-Altona with digital infrastructure. The client is the project developer team situs based in Norderstedt, who is responsible for the implementation of the project. The offer for new work in the Neue Mitte Altona district will in the future be operated by the Hamburg-based coWorking provider officepointONE. The opening is planned for summer 2020. Sensorberg implements its digital access technology on four floors with a total of 140 workstations and 4 conference rooms in the listed brick building, which once served as storage space for the workwear of railway employees.

All processes such as room booking, access authorizations or visitor management can be controlled easily and transparently via the digital infrastructure. For this purpose, Sensorberg installs digital door fittings and cylinders in addition to so-called access hubs in the entire building. Tenants and users can not only open rooms via the access hubs via smartphone or tablet, but also book rooms. The coworking management system from officepointONE provides tenants and users with coworking passes, and their bookings are networked with access control. The login details remain the same. In addition, Sensorberg's digital access control gives tenants easy and secure 24-hour access to the building.

Stefan Scheuerle, CEO of Sensorberg, says: “The future CoWorking offer from officepoint ONE in the Neue Mitte Altona is a special architectural highlight. We are really proud that we were able to use our pioneering Smart Office here. At the same time, we are very pleased that we will also be present at other officepoint ONE locations. Our goal is to make life easier for users and to simplify property management for property companies. ”

Matthias Gipp, Managing Partner of officepointONE / team situs GmbH says: “Today it is a great challenge to offer our customers modern, comfortable and smart solutions for really comfortable use of our“ Flexible Spaces ”and we really want to develop into the future-oriented one. We have become aware of the Sensorberg company through several publications and have found a very competent partner for the digitization of our spaces. The next concrete projects, for example in the Hamburg warehouse district, are already pending."

The building in which the CoWorking Center is located in the Alte Kleiderkasse impresses with bright rooms with high ceilings, large industrial windows, a light-flooded gallery, brick walls, and steel doors combined with innovative technology. It is centrally located and within walking distance of the Altona train station, surrounded by a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and shops.
